Join us on a 5 week shoot across 8 countries as a virtual Crew Member in our private Group Chat to see what goes into creating our biggest and longest video yet. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime shoot and you get to be an active part of it! Our total production from now until video release is 3 months. For now, our shoot locations, client and project details cannot be revealed. We will reveal all to our successful Crew.

The information on our trip will first be shared with the successful applicants, but they include some countries that we’ve never seen footage from, and that’s why we are SO excited. And nervous…our visa applications (and physical passports) are with the embassy’s now.

To apply, all you need to do is click the red ‘Apply Now’ button at the top of this page when applications open at 7:30pm 15 May 2023 (Adelaide, Australia time). This will take you to the check-out page where you need to enter your first name, last name and email address and pay the AUD $99 application fee.

Payment options include credit card/debit card, PayPal (as well as PayPal in 4 instalments) and ApplePay. Apple Pay is only available on mobile devices and you will need to scroll to the top of the form to see the Apple Pay black button. Unfortunately, we cannot accept direct bank transfers, AfterPay, discounted rates or gift vouchers. The payment is a one-time, all-access fee.

Once you have paid, you will receive an email receipt if your payment has been successful.

When the application period closes at 7:30pm 17 May 2023 (Adelaide, Australia time), we will contact all successful applicants with a welcome email and access instruction that will grant you access to our private WhatsApp Group Chat.  Detailed instructions will be provided in the welcome email. This Group Chat is for:

• Anyone who loves to follow our journey and wants to know more
• Beginner, intermediate or advanced videographers and photographers
• Content creators or freelancers
• If you’re thinking or needing inspiration to start your own business

Because you’ll have direct access to us personally, you’ll be able to ask questions that help you learn, improve and grow. We only have a limited number of spots open, so be ready to apply when the cart opens. It’s a first in, first served basis.

Crew Members don’t need to be an active or engaging member, you’re welcome just to silently observe.

If you are unsuccessful, firstly that makes us sad, but we will email you to let you know and refund your AUD $99. We only have a limited number of spots as we want to keep this group intimate to provide the best value. This will be the only reason for not being successful. Early applications will be prioritised first and so on.

Important things to note:

• You must have the latest version of WhatsApp downloaded
• Once you have access, you do not need to ‘do’ anything . This group serves as an open-source portal to learn and understand skills to take into your own work. If you wish to engage and ask questions, that’s great too!
• If we are inundated with questions and we can’t keep up because we are on the shoot, we will ask you to note your questions and ask them when we have some time to dedicate answering them.
• The nature of our shoots are quite adventurous and can sometimes see us out of cell service or change our plans at the last minute. You’ll be the first to be notified when things change, or if we’re about to be uncontactable for a period of time. The locations we are going to for this shoot are off the beaten track so it’s sure to be a wild ride!

This WhatsApp Community Group Chat will be open and active for 3 months. We have outlined the forecasted stages of this shoot below, but just note your participation can be as frequent or as infrequent as you like throughout this period.

• Pre Production: Now – 28 May 2023

• Production: 29 May – 5 July 2023

• Post Production: 8 – 31 July 2023

This exclusive Group Chat will be hosted on WhatsApp Community Groups. Why? There’s a few reasons:

1. WhatsApp is our team’s primary communication app. We use it multiple times a day and couldn’t live without it
2. It’s universal
3. It’s mobile accessible and lives in our pocket
4. It enables us to share videos, images, documents, links and text updates
5. It’s easy to have two-way conversations
6. We enjoy Instagram, but it’s not a place we check or upload often, especially when we are on shoots
